In this role, you'll: Be a software architect, designing, developing, and testing groundbreaking applications for our robotic systems. Collaborate closely with engineers and growers to ensure seamless hardware-software integration. Become a troubleshooting wizard, keeping our systems running smoothly. Play a key role in on-site activities, including system installation and testing at greenhouses. Work within an agile framework to continuously improve and maintain our greenhouse imaging software. Here's a taste of the projects you'll tackle: Develop robust camera controllers that adapt to varying greenhouse lighting conditions. Design clever solutions for handling network connection issues. Refine system state machines for enhanced failure management. Build a remote monitoring system for real-time visibility into all deployed systems. We require: A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. Minimum 3 years of solid Python development experience (beyond academic projects). A thirst for knowledge and a willingness to master new technologies. The ability to solve problems creatively and collaborate effectively. Excellent communication skills and a proactive approach. Fluency in English. Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git). Familiarity with Linux operating systems. A grasp of automated testing (unit and integration).
